Discounting claims that he had referred to diploma students from colleges of education as poor, the Minister said his comment had been distorted by some evil political apparatchiks for political gains but the fact remains undiluted that colleges of education graduates are much better off under the Akufo-Addo led administration than the Mills-Mahama’s eight year administration. As I’m talking to you today, the entry requirements are the same for both Universities and Colleges. The Minister disclosed that his ministry has eradicated salary discrimination in the education sector as both graduates of Colleges of Education and University graduates are paid the same depending on the level one is teaching. We pride ourselves with the achievements in the education sector because no government has ever thought about Colleges of education than the NPP.” He stated.
