Guwahati: B Borooah College will help students who could not get admission in any college in the city fulfil their higher education dreams.From July 15 to 20, aspiring candidates can register their names with the college, which, in turn, will accommodate them in different colleges in Kamrup (Metro) district depending on the availability of seats. "Our priority will be to ensure that all Class XII pass-outs from Kamrup (Metro) district get admission in undergraduate courses in their home district. Similarly, the deputy commissioners of the districts of Assam has been asked to take steps to allot seats to the deserving students who are unable to get admission in degree courses yet. Then, we will try and help students from other NE states," said B Borooah principal Satyendra Nath Barman.Sources in the education department said only those students who have failed to get admission in any educational institution should apply for admission.
