ALOR SETAR: An 18-year-old college student was found drowned at the Hutan Lipur Puncak Janing waterfall in Kuala Nerang. The deceased, identified as Muhammad Munir Abdul Rashid, is said to have gone for a swim with six other friends from Kuala Nerang Community College at about 4.30pm on Wednesday (Nov 8). While they were swimming, one of them saw the deceased struggling in the middle of the stream. Fire and Rescue Department personnel managed to locate Muhammad Munir's body at 7.21pm. The body was sent to the Kuala Nerang Hospital for a post-mortem.
