The college admissions scandal mastermind approached several Stanford University coaches about potential sports recruits over the last 10 years, the school said Tuesday. He added that there was no evidence anyone but the sailing coach “agreed to support a Singer client in exchange for a financial consideration.”The names of other coaches contacted by Singer were not revealed. Vandemoer pleaded guilty to charges that he accepted $770,000 in contributions to the program for agreeing to recommend to prospective students for admission.
