Slade scored eight points in Pau's 18-15 home win over La Rochelle on Saturday (Sunday NZ time) before he was stretchered off after his head struck the leg of visiting hooker Pierre Bourgarit. A report in L'Equipe, France's sports newspaper, said Slade, 30, had a recent history of concussions.
