Cole slams Czech Republic's 'terrible' defending after Delaney opened the scoring for Denmark

Former Chelsea defender Ashley Cole slammed the Czech Republic's 'terrible' defending and 'lack of organisation' after Thomas Delaney opened the scoring for Denmark on Saturday night. The Borussia Dortmund midfielder was left unmarked in the box to score with a downward header from a corner kick in the fifth minute. And Cole told ITV Sport: 'Czech Republic would have nailed down little details on set plays before the game. 'They [Kalas and Boril] might have thought these are two [Delaney and Vestegaard] strong headers of the ball. The Czechs were in the ascendancy in the second half but Denmark held on for the win and a semi-final date at Wembley.
