The worst of the latest cold blast is likely to be over for South Canterbury, the MetService says. Snow fell in the Canterbury High Country on Sunday and Monday, making roads “dicey”, with two reported crashes. However, as of Monday afternoon, MetService forecaster Angus Hines said the “worst of it” had already gone through the weather systems for South Canterbury.
