Colby is part of the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC), which includes 11 of the most competitive colleges in New England; Amherst, Bowdoin, Middlebury and Williams are all members. Colby College president David Greene has managed the Maine school's protocols bringing students back to campus during the coronavirus. Colby raised $120 million for the center and broke ground on it in October 2017.
