The second edition of the Coimbatore night marathon is here once again to test the skills of both the amateur and the professional runnersWhen the first edition came into life last year quite a few cast doubts about how the runners would tackle the sudden shift from day to night running. “The event was well received and the people of Coimbatore gave a thumbs up to our efforts. And, obviously the route will be in and around that area cutting through the IT corridor of Coimbatore. Last year, the event was run to support the battle against paediatric cancer and the organisers contributed Rs. About 2000 runners from all age groups took part under various categories and this year’s event is scheduled for August 6.
