Quarterback Cody Fajardo has signed a two-year contract extension with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Fajardo, who signed a one-year contract with the CFL team in February, now has a new deal that carries through the 2021 season. “We’re super-happy for Cody and his family,” Roughriders general manager and vice-president of football operations Jeremy O’Day said. “We obviously wanted Cody, and Cody wanted to be here. They really wanted to make sure that it wasn’t going to be a distraction for the team.
