Coca-Cola on Wednesday found itself having to issue a statement saying that, no, Kendall Jenner is not their new “brand ambassador” for their new line of Orange Vanilla Coke. It also wasn’t difficult for people to be reminded of the last time Jenner tried to hawk soda — with disastrous results. “The most recently launched Orange Vanilla flavor she chose happened to be just a couple Pantone shades away from perfectly matching her dress. “Kendall Jenner is not paid by Coca-Cola and this was not a paid placement,” the company said in a statement to Refinery29. While Coca-Cola was quick to deny being involved in the Kendall Jenner Orange Vanilla Coke post, the company didn’t lose time using this minor Jenner-related kerfuffle to its advantage.
