Furniture designer and manufacturer Kenneth Cobonpue, along with his faculty pool, extended an invitation to students enrolled in the Industrial Design Program of the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) to bring forward their best course outputs for the recently-concluded sound review and assessment. Kenneth Cobonpue assesses pitches and concepts of students of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde's Industrial Design ProgramThe activity aims to give the students the confidence to pitch concepts and outputs, while having the proper attitude in appreciating improvements, and developing the sense for good form and function design. The annual exercise wishes to establish a culture of open and constructive feedback, giving the students the venue to learn from industry practitioners while relating their products and competencies to real-world sensibilities and directions in an ever-evolving industrial design industry. He has likewise been named Designer of the Year in the first issue of Maison et Objet Asia held in March 2014. The DLS-CSB faculty represents both the sides of the learned academe and industry movers and doers, who are all leaders in their own fields, with experience local and abroad.
