The Coastal Spirit 12 grade girls football team finished fifth at a South Island tournament in Blenheim last week. Coastal Spirit gained a 3-1 win over South Canterbury in their last game to finish fifth. The team was given the tournament’s fair play award for their style of play and spirit in which they took to the field.
