The last couple of weeks have been wobbly ones for Theresa May’s campaign, with the majority of opinion polls showing a tightening of the electoral race between the Conservatives and Labour. One recent poll from YouGov (hemmed in by many caveats) even suggested the possibility of Theresa May losing her overall majority: in other words a hung parliament. Could we really be facing the possibility of the Labour-led “coalition of chaos” that the Conservatives have put so much energy into warning voters about?
