Messengers of Peace (MoP) executive director Gwendolyn Myers has been appointed by the Coalition Peace Network as a members of its Board of Trustees. “Delighted to announce that Gwendolyn Myers, Founder & Executive Director of Messengers of Peace Liberia, is joining our Board of Trustees. We are really excited about Gwendolyn’s expertise as a local peace-builder, with focus on youth and gender issues,” Coalition Peace said in a Facebook post. “I had my first Board of trustees meeting last month [August], and the Facebook post was just a confirmation of it being official,” she added. Last month, another group, the Youth Hub Africa, named Ms. Myers as one of the “Outstanding Change Makers” in the country.
