Co-op and Coca-Cola issue urgent product recalls over E. coli and other fears


The recalls, issued by the Food Standard's Agency, included advice about what to do if you have come into contact with the products. Co-op is recalling 70g packs of Co-op Sliced Pepperoni because E. coli O157 fears. The bottles have a best before date of 30 September, 2020 and have the following batch codes:083EK3TT:TT084EK3TT:TT085EK3TT:TT086EK3TT:TT087EK3TT:TT088EK3TT:TT089EK3TT:TT090EK3TT:TTAs well as Co-op and Coca Cola, there were two other food recalls issued in the past week. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents. And Waitrose & Partners is recalling Waitrose N°1 Teacakes because they have been packed with an incorrect product which contains egg that is not mentioned on the label.
