Co-accused given sentencing and trial dates over death of Wicklow father-of-seven William Moorehouse


A man has been given a sentencing date over actions linked to the death of Wicklow father-of-seven William Moorehouse, who was found dead in a playground in Bray in January last year. Additionally several of his co-accused have been sent forward for trial at Wicklow Circuit Criminal Court. Mr Kiggins is to be sentenced in respect of the production of an article capable of inflicting serious injury and one count of violent disorder. In separate proceedings in Dublin, Patrick Fitzpatrick (32), of Heather Hall, Kilruddery Glen, Bray, Co. Wicklow, is charged with violent disorder, production of an article, and the murder of William Moorehouse. He is expected to stand trial at the Central Criminal Court in Dublin in the summer of 2026.
