A surprisingly large number of us will be eating Thanksgiving dinner with our co-workers this year, according to a CareerBuilder survey. The survey also found that 24% of employees say they have to work on Thanksgiving (up from 22% last year). Still, that 8% jump from last year is worth some consideration — especially as many retail stores have opted to stay closed on Thanksgiving Day. So if you find yourself eating Thanksgiving Day dinner with coworkers tomorrow, it might be because:You work in the healthcare or retail industries. And indeed, this category comes in second in CareerBuilder’s survey with 32% of retail workers reporting plans to eat with co-workers.
