Monrovia – Robert Taylor came off the bench to fire Monrovia Club Breweries into the third round of the FA Cup after a dominance performance against Jubilee at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium. Report by Jaheim T Tumu- [email protected]The forward scored after 73rd minute to give Breweries a deserved victory with a close range tip effort. The Beer Boys took control of proceedings right from that moment and George Weah won a free-kick right over the 18 yard but Adama Swaray’s effort was blocked. As Breweries mounted pressure, Jubilee’s Tello Gibson nearly scored an own goal when his header beat goalkeeper Wonderful in the 19th minute from Weah’s cross down the channel. In the 65th minute, Weah put Morris through on goal but when the forward seemed to strike, Gibson amended with a beautiful intervention to keep the ball from safety.
