MANILA, Philippines – Most parts of the Philippines will have cloudy skies on Sunday evening until Monday morning, according to the Sunday afternoon forecast of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa). Pagasa said the tail-end of a cold front would bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over the eastern sections of southern Luzon and Visayas, which could cause flash floods or landslides. ADVERTISEMENTAffected areas include the Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas and the provinces of Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Aklan, and Capiz. The Ilocos Region and the rest of Central Luzon will have cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the amihan, or the northeast monsoon. In Western and Central Visayas, Palawan, and Mindanao, localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains in the evening that could cause flash floods or landslides.
