Key indices on Thursday end slightly higher and broke the seven day losing streak. The 30-share BSE Sensex was up 330.45 points or 0.97 percent at 34,413.16, and the 50-share NSE Nifty gained 100.20 points or 0.96 percent at 10,576.90. Auto components major Bharat Forge today reported a 77.39 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 228.17 crore for the quarter ended on December 31. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 128.62 crore for the same period in the previous fiscal. It was at Rs 990.01 crore in the same period of previous fiscal, Bharat Forge said in a regulatory filing.
