Clonliffe College is currently closed to all supporters attending matches at GAA headquarters, including Sunday's double-header between Galway-Armagh and Mayo-Kerry. Demand for tickets has been strong since the fixtures were made and a crowd in excess of 70,000 is expected at Croke Park on Sunday. "The GAA previously had an agreement to avail of the space in Clonliffe College on big match days," a spokesman for the GAA told The Tuam Herald. "However, the lands in Clonliffe College have been sold for development and it is a matter for the new owners. "There are alternative city centre car parks and park and ride facilities at train and Luas stations, as well as public transport options."
