The clinic sued Sarit Centre in June after the mall’s owners refused to allow it a temporary lease extension. When the mall owners declined, he unsuccessfully sued at the High Court to compel Sarit Centre to do renovations outside business hours. Dr Joshi believes that the Sarit Centre refused to extend his lease as punishment. But Sarit Centre came up with a list of non-negotiable demands, which Dr Joshi rejected and moved to court.
