A mobile court of the Chittagong district administration has fined a private clinic of the port city Tk1 lakh for using expired medicine and reagents. Executive Magistrate Tania Moon conducted the drive at the city’s “Medical Centre” with the assistance of the Chittagong Civil Surgeon Office on Tuesday. Speaking to reporters, Tania said: “Most of the medicine and reagents found in the operating theatre of the clinic were expired.”“Moreover, the assistant radiologist does not have any professional experience or academic qualifications,” she added.
