More severe wildfires are among the ways climate change will alter Earth's ecosystems, scientists say. Where the temperature changes were more moderate, around the equator, some ecosystems had a chance of coming through relatively unscathed. Next the researchers applied that relationship to four possible scenarios for human-driven climate change in the next century.
