The company’s chief executive officer, Brad Dickerson, resigned earlier this week after less than a year and a half on the job, abandoning a company that has lost 72% of its market value since July. But his replacement, Linda Kozlowski, may have an even steeper climb. Her appointment is the latest example of what is termed the “Glass Cliff”—a situation in which a woman is brought in to turn around a sinking ship.
