Former Pro Bowl wide receiver and first team All-Pro Josh Gordon will reportedly apply for re-instatement with the NFL. Gordon was, at one point, one of the best receivers in the NFL, leading the league in receiving in 2013 with 1,646 yards. He appeared in 30 games before serving a 10-game suspension in 2014 for violating the league’s substance abuse policy. Then in 2015, after being welcomed back to the Browns, Gordon was suspended for the entire season for yet another violation of the league’s substance abuse policy after testing positive for alcohol. The Cleveland Browns have made it clear that they will not be keeping Gordon following any reinstatement by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.
