A clear IPA was among the most popular orders at Beervana this year. A clear IPA from Auckland brewer Urbanaut was among the favourites on tap as the Beervana beer festival returned to Wellington. The Urbana Brewing Crystal IPA is thought to be the first clear beer developed in New Zealand. The process of developing the clear IPA took a series of attempts as the brewers struggled to perfect the balance of flavours and colour.
