Clean up after car crashes into Lower Hutt subwaySUPPLIED A car crashed down into the pedestrian entrance of a subway tunnel at Epuni Railway Station in Lower Hutt on March 10. The clean-up has begun near a Lower Hutt railway station after a vehicle ploughed through railings and down the entrance to a subway tunnel. SUPPLIED The vehicle crashed through railings before coming to a stop at the bottom of the access ramp. Damage to the subway had been assessed by Greater Wellington Regional Council, who was in the process of arranging repairs.
