The 'Our Hospital Heroes' appeal is being co-ordinated by the Mater Foundation, the official fundraising body of the Mater University Hospital in Dublin. Claudine told the Irish Independent about how grateful she was to the staff of the hospital who treated her relative. They concluded by thanking people for their generosity and help "in raising these much-needed funds to help our frontline heroes now and into the future".
