A current member of the Gage County Planning and Zoning Commission announced he’s seeking a position on the County Board of Supervisors. “One thing I look forward to is being part of a board that’s looking out for the county,” he said. {{featured_button_text}}In addition to his role with the commission, Murkle said he serves as a liaison with the variance board and is a member of Clatonia Fire and Clatonia rescue. Murkle farms in northern Gage County, as is also a salesman for Channel Seed. Murkle said he’s not focused on one specific area, but wants to help the county as a whole.
