Robert Gituru, a 28 years old resident of Mombasa who set himself on fire on Thursday evening, has passed away. According to Miraj, Gituru graduated from Eldoret University in 2021 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Miraj mentioned that Gituru appeared frustrated because he had not been able to secure a job despite his qualifications. It is unclear whether this frustration played a role in his decision to set himself ablaze.
