Delhi University (DU) has released datesheet for its School of Open Learning (SOL) students even as classes for several courses, for the session 2017-18, are yet to begin. The students are clueless about their syllabi as the university has not even released their study material so far. Twenty-year-old Kuldeep Kumar, a second year BA (Hons) Political Science student at SOL, is among the thousands of students who are in a fix upon receiving the date sheet. Similarly, students of second and third-year BA (Hons) English are also waiting for any notification for their classes to begin. While the new semesters have begun for regular students, the SOL students, coming from deprived and marginalised sections, are still waiting for classes to start," said Sneha Singh, a third-year English (Hons) student.
