Classes will resume for six kindergartens, primary and secondary schools around Lek Yuen Estate in Sha Tin as Covid-19 "super spreader" fears subsided in the neighborhood after an absence of new cases was reported yesterday. The new cluster sparked concerns about the safety of students in the area who attend two kindergartens, two primary and two secondary schools nearby. The department urges them to return their samples as soon as possible, or compulsory testing will be arranged. A education bureau spokesman said schools around Lek Yuen Estate would still follow the class resumption plan. On the other hand, 40 percent of parents were excited and relieved about school resumption as they no longer need to take care of their children the whole day.
