The Prime Minister has dismissed rumours of inappropriate behaviour from her partner Clarke Gayford as "dirty politics," but says she won't be pointing the finger at anyone. In response to enquiries, Jacinda Ardern said: "I won't comment on dirty politics, it's just not what I'm here for." Asked about the rumours, National Party leader Simon Bridges said: "As leader I've repeatedly made my expectations very clear - National MPs will not be involved in peddling rumours or innuendo. "There has been dirty politics if you like from what's gone on here, but not from the National Party."
