Keith Hutton, who won seven gold medals and one bronze medal at the New Zealand Masters Games in Dunedin at the weekend, says the key is listening to your body. At the weekend the 76-year-old Wanaka man won seven golds and one bronze at the New Zealand Masters Games in Dunedin. After competing in the Games for about 30 years, Mr Hutton said his results this year were his best yet. Having been involved in athletics since childhood, Mr Hutton said he was always involved at appropriate levels. Mr Hutton was told to stop sprinting to protect his hips, so instead he picked up more throwing events.
