Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg was slammed by civil rights leaders Monday for 'lacking the ability to understand' why the site should have deleted incendiary posts from President Trump. Three civil rights leaders issued a joint statement in which they condemned Zuckerberg's excuses as 'incomprehensible' and said they were 'disappointed and stunned' after a call with him and Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg. Zuckerberg told Facebook employees Friday that he was disgusted by Trump's 'when the looting starts, the shooting starts' posts about George Floyd protesters last week. He didn't call civil rights leaders on the other side and have conversations about the civil rights implication. This is also not the first time Facebook has been criticized for its approach to civil rights issues.
