From The Tribune staff reportsLEEDS — The City of Leeds will be partnering with the Virtual Rain Barrel Workshop to learn how to utilize a rain barrel. According to the City of Leeds Facebook Page, you can learn how to utilize a rain barrel in your home garden or how to make your own at home with a pre-recorded session led by Rhonda Britton, Regional Extension Agent with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System. Hosted by the Birmingham Botanical GardensYou can register now for the Virtual Rain Barrel Workshop; a pre-recorded session only is $5, an “as-is” barrel + recorded session is $45, and a ready-to-install barrel and recorded session is $55.
