The newest cycle track is open in Calgary on Edmonton Trail, and the city hosted a morning information session to teach cyclists, motorists and pedestrians about it. The two-way, separated bike lane runs from Memorial Drive up Edmonton Trail to Second Avenue N.E. as well as the Starbucks at 11 Edmonton Trail N.E. The cycle track and bike lane were designed to improve connectivity from the neighbourhoods of Crescent Heights and Bridgeland to downtown and the Bow River pathway system.
