Playgrounds, outdoor fitness areas and recreational spaces in the City of Brandon will start reopening to the public next week. Phase 1 of that plan comes into effect on Monday, allowing some non-essential workers to go back to work, and playgrounds and outdoor recreational spaces to reopen. The City of Brandon will be spending much of next week prepping those spaces:Swings will be reinstalled and play structures inspected. Fencing around the Kristopher Campbell Memorial Skateboard Plaza will be removed and the plaza reopened for public use. A plan for reopening civic facilities will be announced in the coming days, the city said.
