A man committed suicide in his house in Mwiki, Kasarani, on Thursday night just moments after he had assaulted his wife. The 29 year old man started to punch his wife while their two-year-old daughter watched. The heavily drunk man followed them and continued assaulting and insulting both his wife and the neighbour. Ms Wangari later went to her house and found her husband having hanged himself with a leather belt. Meanwhile, a 60-year-old woman died after reportedly jumping out of a moving matatu along the busy Thika Superhighway on Wednesday.
