The award will be conferred on Dr. Mohan in June during the 78th Scientific Sessions of the ADA at Orlando during the National Scientific Achievement Awards Presentation Ceremony. Dr. Mohan has published over 1,110 papers in peer-reviewed journals and textbooks. Roy National Award by the Medical Council of India, and the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Centenary Award from the Indian Council of Medical Research. For his extensive contribution in the field of diabetes, Dr. Mohan was awarded the Padma Shri.
