Citicore solar units granted certificates of compliance

RENEWABLE energy company Citicore Power, Inc. announced that its two solar power subsidiaries, First Toledo Solar Energy Corp. (FTSEC) and Next Generation Power Technology Corp. (NGPTC), have been granted certificates of compliance (COCs) by the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC). The grant of COCs will allow First Toledo and Next Generation to operate their power generation facilities, Citicore said on Tuesday. Next Generation owns and runs an 18-megawatt solar power plant located within the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) in Mariveles, while First Toledo owns and operates a 60-MW solar power plant in Toledo City, Cebu. “These COCs enable our two solar plants in Bataan and Cebu to generate electricity that will serve the people. Citicore Power is currently working to secure the COC of its third solar plant in Silay City, Negros Occidental.
