Citi Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Citigroup Inc, has been implementing the Citi UCEP Technical Education project since 2013, according to the release. With the Foundation’s funding of $55,000, UCEP provided technical education to 60 underprivileged youths in 2014 and 120 in 2015. In 2015 program, 120 were trained in industrial sewing operations. The course duration was six months and the program was implemented at UCEP Gazipur Technical School, the release said.
