According to a report by Citizen TV, faithful convened in their various churches on Sunday, August 1, under strict COVID-19 rules such as social distancing, wearing of face masks, washing of hands among others. The 13 counties include Busia, Vihiga, Kisii, Nyamira, Kakamega, Kericho, Bomet, Bungoma, Trans-Nzoia, Kisumu, Siaya, Homa Bay and Migori counties. Kagwe said that the latest development applies to all counties, including those in the lake region previously considered hotspot areas.
