Fifty pairs of white shoes sit outside a church in Christchurch as a solemn symbol of the lives lost in the city. The move comes as churches all over Christchurch used their weekend services to express their horror at the massacre that killed 50 people and injured about 45 at two mosques in the city on Friday. A campaign titled "give nothing to hate" has also been created to encourage people to wear green hearts to express their solidarity with Muslims.
