In an interview with ABC News, Wray declared there was “no indication” that Ukraine interfered in the 2016 election. “We have no information that indicates that Ukraine interfered with the 2016 presidential election,” Wray said, adding: “Well, look, there’s all kinds of people saying all kinds of things out there. Trump’s desire for Ukraine to investigate debunked conspiracy theory pushed by Rudy Giuliani and others, FBI Dir. I don’t know what report current Director of the FBI Christopher Wray was reading, but it sure wasn’t the one given to me. The problem with that argument, Hill noted, is that it’s reductive when it comes to the really significant, actual interference in the 2016 election.
