Cherie To and Cheryl To at their first Christmas parade. Despite the rain starting on Saturday just as the town's Christmas parade got underway, there was no shortage of colour and high spirits. Nine-year-old Luke Bourgeois said after the parade, his highlight was the 15 (or so) lollies he was given throughout. Luke's friend, Luke Batty, also 9, said it was wet, but that didn't seem to matter.
