John Ross puts an engagement ring on his fiance Natasha Stella at the Feilding Christmas parade. It may be just days before Santa comes to town, but Christmas has come early for one Manawatū couple. Shock filled the streets and Natasha Stella's face as her partner John Ross dropped to one knee while the last float at Feilding's Christmas parade stuttered past. Ross decided he would propose two months ago, but he didn't consider doing it at the Christmas parade until Saturday. Lytton Street School recreated the quintessential Kiwi Christmas, a barbecue and picnic, while North Street School's winter themed Christmas truck also turned heads.
