The three constables — Leslie Nyznik, Sameer Kara and Joshua Cabero — are pleading not guilty to attacking a 36-year-old parking officer after a night of drinking. That left only the woman, Nyznik, Cabero and a couple of other officers heading to the Brass Rail strip club. When those two officers left not much later, Nyznik, Cabero and the woman took a taxi to the Westin Harbour Castle, where Nyznik had rented a room and where the alleged assault took place. The woman can’t be identified under the publication ban standard in sexual assault cases. The woman said she’d found it shocking and was flabbergasted by it, yet never thought to tell police.
